Water Services

POTABLE WATER
Water for the existing distribution system throughout the AirPark is provided by the city of Courtland. One million (1,000,000) gallons of elevated storage insures excellent pressure, 65 psi. Fire plugs are in place in the AirPark. Resources are available to accommodate any unusually large requirement. An 8” water line runs throughout the Industrial AirPark, and a new 12” water line has been constructed down the west side of the Park.

WASTE WATER TREATMENT FACILITIES
Waste water treatment facilities, 150,000 gallons per day capacity, are located on AirPark property. Additional capacity is available and will be provided as needed. The existing sanitary system throughout the AirPark has been rehabilitated, providing service to all AirPark sites. The City of Courtland services the Waste Water Treatment Facility and any requirements related thereto.

ELECTRIC POWER SERVICES
Flexible Power Supply Arrangements

Electric power is distributed to the Industrial AirPark of Lawrence County at Courtland, Alabama by the City of Courtland Electric Department, a distributor of Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) power.

For customers with an unusually large requirement, TVA will supply them directly.

TVA and the distributors of TVA power make available to industry several power supply arrangements which allow industry to select the most cost effective arrangements. In addition to the availability of firm power service, TVA and the distributors of TVA power also make available to industry very economically priced interruptible power supply arrangements for those industrial processes which can withstand interruption without significant disruption of the production process. At the customer’s option, substation facilities can be supplied by either the customer or the utility. Also, a new or expanding customer, or a customer restarting an idled facility, can obtain a great deal of flexibility in power billing arrangements during the startup and testing phase of new plant operations. TVA and the power distributors welcome the most cost-effective power supply arrangements consistent with the industry’s production requirements.
